Terms of use
By using ClipGate you accept the terms below. They are short because the tool is small: a static page that checks your clip against a brief you paste, entirely inside your own browser.
ClipGate reads a campaign brief and checks the mechanical rules it states: length, aspect ratio, resolution, platform, required hashtags and mentions, and similar checkable facts. It cannot judge taste, hooks, editing quality, or whether a human reviewer will like your clip, and it is only as good as the brief you paste into it.
A "ready" verdict is not a guarantee of anything. It does not mean a campaign will accept your submission, approve it, or pay you. Campaign operators set and change their own rules, often in places a pasted brief does not cover. You are responsible for reading the real brief and complying with it.
Your clips, captions and briefs are yours. Nothing you put into ClipGate is uploaded to us or claimed by us — see the privacy page. You remain solely responsible for what you create and post, and for following the terms of every platform and campaign you submit to. Do not use ClipGate to help you submit content you do not have the rights to.
The AI pass is optional and requires your own API key. Requests go directly from your browser to Anthropic or OpenAI, and your use of those services is governed by their terms and billed to your account. ClipGate does not resell, proxy, subsidise or meter that usage, and is not responsible for their output, availability or cost. The tool's schema validation rejects AI-suggested rules whose quoted evidence is not literally present in your brief, but it cannot make a model correct.
ClipGate is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Whop, CapCut, or any campaign operator, platform or brand whose rules it may help you check. All trademarks belong to their respective owners and are referred to only descriptively.
ClipGate is free, needs no account, and takes no payment — so there is nothing to subscribe to and nothing to cancel. It may change, move or be taken offline at any time without notice. Because it runs entirely in your browser, a copy you have already loaded keeps working offline.
ClipGate is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it — including rejected submissions, missed deadlines, lost earnings, or costs incurred with an AI provider. If any limitation here is unenforceable where you live, the rest still applies.
